More Portrait Pictures

These are some more portraits that I had extra time to print. The picture of my mother doesn't really have that much going on in it, but I wanted to develop one of her and this is the only one I took. I think the top picture of my dad was printed really well because it isn't too dark and you can see absolute black on his glasses. I love the middle picture of him because it's really funny and I think it captures a part of his personality.

Portrait Project

I took these  bottom two pictures in my backyard, and they are of my dad. I think they both capture his silly and quirky nature. Also, there was nice light outside that day.
The first picture was taken at night, outside, with direct light on the right side of his face. It is quite dramatic.

Cross Processing

These are the three pictures I cross-processed. I did that by altering the Red, Blue, and Green Curves. I changed the diagonal line so it formed an "S" to give the pictures a vintage look.

Contact Sheet for Portrait Project

This is the contact sheet for the portrait project. There are some pictures of the beach scattered in there because I had some extra pieces of film scattered in there because there was extra space in the negative sleeve.

Contact Sheet for Light Project

These are the contact sheets I printed for the light project. Before doing them I did a test strip to see when the numbers were the only thing showing up besides the picture. The time to get that was approximately 33 seconds on the dimmest setting of light. There is a lot of darkness on these because most of my pictures were taken in the dark with only a little bit of light.
